Samuel Plouhinec (born March 5, 1976 in Le Mans ) is a French racing cyclist .

Samuel Plouhinec drove as a trainee with Cofidis in 1997 and got a professional contract for the following season. He drove there for two years, but could not achieve any success worth mentioning. In 2000 he won a stage in the Tour de L'Ain / Prix de l'Amitié and drove for the French team Jean Delatour the following year . He was then without a team for three years until he joined the Continental Team Bretagne-Jean Floc'h in 2005. This year he was able to win another stage in the Tour de L'Ain / Prix de l'Amitié. From 2006 he drove for the Professional Continental Team Agritubel . In 2006 he took part in the Tour de France , but could not finish it due to back pain.

In 2007 Plouhinec ended his career as a professional cyclist. In 2013 he made his comeback as part-time member of the national team Peltrax-CSDammarie-lés-Lys 2014 . Since then he has won several regional races, such as the Tour des Mauges and the Île-de-France championship in the individual time trial
