Samuel Sugenheim

Samuel Sugenheim ( May 8, 1811 - March 15, 1877 ) was a German historian.

Life

Sugenheim was born in Frankfurt in 1811 as the son of a Jewish businessman . Physical infirmities only allowed him to attend school until he was 13 years old. Sugenheim acquired his extensive knowledge in a wide variety of areas in self-teaching. In terms of writing, Sugenheim limited himself to the field of historical science .
