Samurai (bourgeois Samora Bazarrabusa ), also Sam Oibel 1. , is a Swiss rapper from Zurich .
biography
At the beginning Samurai wrote his rap lyrics in English, his second mother tongue. He later started rapping in Swiss German because he believed that this would help convey the messages of his texts.
When he met the rapper Rokator in 1998, the two of them traveled through Switzerland and performed in stage and freestyle sessions. Within a short period of time, they became well known in the Swiss rapeseed scene.
In 2000 his first releases appeared, the first featuring with L-Deep on the Beetown sampler and the first track with Rokator, Supermega , for the More Compilation. Together with Rokator he gained stage experience as a support act for famous musicians such as The Black Eyed Peas , Tha Alkaholiks , Masta Ace , Erick Sermon , Jean Grae and Azad .
In 2002 Samurai released the debut album Roirschachtescht together with the group Oibel Troibel . After this album Samurai devoted himself to his further education. However, he never completely disappeared from the stage, as he was in the spotlight again and again as a presenter of various parties and occasions such as the slang night, jam-in, Freaza marathons and others.
After his further training, his debut album Sam Oibel 1 was released in 2007 , which reached number 85 in the charts.
In 2008 he released his second album called Swiss Made with rapper P. Moos from the Swiss rap formation Gleiszwei . In the first week, the album was ranked 63rd on the Swiss charts . Samurai's second solo album, Legendary, followed in 2010 . The phonogram reached rank 73.
Bazarrabusa has been hosting the Dope program on Radio 105 for a long time .
In 2011 the club hit Mato was released, which he released together with DJ Freaza as Cuzzy Cuz .
