The Dominican Monastery of San Domenico in Fiesole , Metropolitan City of Florence (FI), Italy , was founded in 1406 . It was the spiritual home of several personalities, such as Fra Angelico , who took his monastic vows here around 1420, and Antonino Pierozzi .
Arnold Böcklin spent the last years of his life in the vicinity of the monastery.
