San Esteban de Pravia has 614 inhabitants (2011) on an area of 2.31 km². It lies between zero and 113 m above sea level. Muros de Nalon, two kilometers away, is the closest larger town and also the administrative seat of the municipality.
economy
The old deep sea port at the mouth of the Rio Nalon is used today mainly by a few fishing boats and recreational captains. The last shipyard in San Esteban de Pravia made a name for itself in northern Spain with the production of pleasure boats and yachts .
