San Fernando is a city in Mexico . It is located in the state of Tamaulipas and has about 30,000 inhabitants. San Fernando is the administrative seat of the municipality of San Fernando of the same name .
Sequoyah , the inventor of the Cherokee syllabary , died near San Fernando in August 1843.
history
The place was founded in 1749 and relocated in 1751 due to flooding.
In 2010 in the course of the massacre of San Fernando and in 2011 when mass graves were found, San Fernando attracted the interest of international media.
