The Chiesa di San Gioacchino (all'Olivella) is a church between Baroque and Classicism in Palermo .

As part of the Collegio die Santa Maria all'Olivella, founded in 1720, the construction of the church in Via Patania was completed in 1727 according to plans by Andrea Palma in a style between Sicilian Baroque and Classicism. The church was badly damaged by bombing in 1943 and repaired after the war.

The natural stone facade is divided into three parts by cranked cornices that extend far forward and structured by pilasters with conspicuously designed capitals . Above the portal there is a decorative frame crowned by putti with a relief depicting Joachim with the childlike Maria in his arm. In a tympanum above the first cornice there is another cartouche with a coat of arms, and above it the central window, which is accompanied by two oculi . The upper storey with its stone balustrade and the individual oculus is closed at the top by a triangular gable.

Andrea Palma's nephew and pupil Niccolò Palma provided the design for the interior decoration of the church in 1736, which was completed by Procopio Serpotta in 1742.
