San Giovanni Maria Vianney is the Roman Catholic parish church of the same parish in the Roman district Z.XIV in the eastern outer rim District Borghesiana (Via Lentini 6).
Since 2012 it has been titular church of the Cardinal Priest of San Giovanni Maria Vianney . The current title holder Rainer Maria Woelki took possession of it on June 30, 2012.
The church is named after the French saint Jean-Marie Vianney (1786-1859), who is also known as the “holy pastor of Ars” and patron saint of pastors. The modern church, inaugurated in 1990 by Cardinal Ugo Poletti , was built in place of a church built in 1952.
