Sander Olav Rølvåg (born August 4, 1990 in Sandnessjøen ) is a Norwegian curler .

Career

Rølvåg began his international career as a skip for the Norwegian team at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2009 , where he won the bronze medal. At the Junior World Championship in 2011 he played as lead under Skip Steffen Mellemseter and was third; the following year he came fourth with Skip Markus Høiberg .

Since 2014 he has participated in the European Championships every year as a substitute for the Norwegian men's team . In 2014 and 2016 he won the silver medal and in 2015 the bronze medal.

In 2015 he won the gold medal as second under Skip Steffen Walstad at the Mixed World Championship . With Walstad, he also took part in the men's world championship for the first time in 2017 ; as a substitute he came in eighth place with the Norwegian team.

Private life

Rølvåg works as a curling instructor, ice master and commentator.
