European Curling Championship 2016

The 2016 European Curling Championships for men and women took place in Renfrewshire , Scotland from November 18th to 26th . The defending champions were Sweden for the men and Russia for the women.

In the men's category, Team Sweden, led by Skip Niklas Edin, won the European championship. The team of Norwegians came in second ahead of Switzerland. In the women's category, Russia and Skip Viktorija Moissejewa won ahead of Sweden and Scotland.
