Rasmus Wranå (born November 15, 1994 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish curler . He is currently playing second in Niklas Edin's team .

Wranå began his international career at the 2012 Junior World Curling Championships in Östersund . As the skip of the Swedish team, he was able to move into the final, but had to admit defeat to Brendan Bottcher's Canadian team . In the same year he played at the Olympic Youth Winter Games 2012 in mixed competition as the skip of the Swedish team and came fourth after a defeat in the game for third place.

In 2015 he won the silver medal at the Mixed World Championships after a final defeat against the Norwegian team around Steffen Walstad .

Since 2016 Wranå has been playing second in Niklas Edin's team. With this team he was able to win the gold medal at the European Championships in 2016 and 2017 . At his first World Cup in 2017 , he won the silver medal after losing to the Canadians for Brad Gushue in the final . This final pairing was reissued at the 2018 World Cup . This time Wranå and the Swedish team retained the upper hand with a 7-3 win and won the gold medal.

Wranå and his team (Skip: Niklas Edin, Third: Oskar Eriksson , Lead: Christoffer Sundgren ) represented Sweden at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games . After seven wins and two defeats, they finished the Round Robin first. In the semifinals they defeated Switzerland with Skip Peter de Cruz . In the final they were defeated by the US team led by John Shuster with 7:10 and won the silver medal.
