Sandhya Mridul
Sandhya Mridul (born March 28, 1975 in Bombay ) is an Indian actress of Hindi film and television. It was for her roles in the films Saathiya (2002) and Page 3 known (2005) and was a finalist in the dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 2) (2007).
Life
Sandhya Mridul, called Sandy, is the daughter of lawyer PR Mridul and his wife. She attended Maharani Gayatri Devi Girl's School in Jaipur . The family later moved to New Delhi . When she was 14 years old, her father died. She then grew up with her older brother Siddharth Mridul, a judge on the Delhi High Court . She studied mathematics, got a degree in marketing and worked at KLM in Mumbai.
Sandhya Mridul began her acting career in the popular television series Swabhimaan . She then had other roles in the series Banegi Apni Baat , Koshish and Hu Hu Ba . She had her breakthrough in 2002 with the film Saathiya by Yash Raj Films , in which she played Dina. The film was commercially successful, and critics appreciated its performance. In 2004 she played in Pratap Sharma's Zen Katha with Rajeev Gopalkrishnan . Since 2006 she has focused exclusively on film roles. So she worked in the film 13th Floor . As a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, it is Sandhyas Mridul's wish to show her dancing skills. She succeeded in doing this in the 2009 film Chowki .
