Sandra Daniela Gerber (born June 13, 1985 in Langnau im Emmental ) is a Swiss snowboarder . She starts in the snowboard cross discipline.

Career

Gerber, who competes for SC Belp, has been taking part in the European Cup since 2009 and the World Cup since 2011. She drove her first World Cup in March 2011 in Arosa , which she finished in 20th place. At the Snowboard World Championships 2013 in Stoneham she finished 19th. The following year she achieved her first top ten placements in the World Cup with two tenth places in Vallnord-Arcalís and in Veysonnaz . In her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she came in 13th. In the 2014/15 season she was among the top ten at three World Cups and thus reached sixth place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup. At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , he achieved 15th place.

Gerber has competed in 19 World Cups so far and has been in the top ten five times. (Status: end of season 2016/17)
