Sandra Lopez
Sandra López Reyes (born April 16, 1984 in Tlaxcala ) is a Mexican athlete who specializes in the 5000 meter run . She took part in the 2012 Olympics for Mexico .
Career
At the Pan American Games in 2011 , she started in the 5000-meter run and the 3000-meter obstacle course . In fourth place she just missed a medal over the 5000 meters. She took sixth place in the 3000 meter obstacle course.
She was nominated by the Comité Olímpico Mexicano for the 2012 Olympic Games in London and, in contrast to the Pan American Games, was only allowed to start in the 5000-meter run. In the semifinals over the 5000 meters, she failed as 16th to qualify for the final.
