Sandy Iannella

Sandy Iannella (born April 6, 1987 ) is an Italian soccer player . The striker took part in the 2013 European Women's Championship with the Italian women's national team. She has been under contract with Cuneo Calcio since 2016.

Athletic career

Iannella made her adult debut for ACF Livorno . With a hit rate of over one goal per league game, she played her way into the Italian youth national teams on the one hand, and on the other hand aroused the appetite of top Italian clubs. In 2006 she therefore moved to ASD Torres Calcio . With the club she won the national championship title in 2010 and 2011. In 2014 she moved to ASD Mozzanica within the top Italian division . In August 2016 she moved to Cuneo Calcio.

In 2011 Iannella had made her senior national team debut under national coach Pietro Ghedin , at the European Championship finals in 2013 she was part of the squad of the national team under his successor Antonio Cabrini . By the time the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Germany , they had played all four games in the final.
