The Sanica ( Serbian - Cyrillic Саница ) is a river in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina . It rises near the place named after it Sanica and is fed by three different karst springs. It flows into the Sana at Vrhpolje . The Sanica is 22 kilometers long from the source to the confluence with the Sana and is very popular with anglers because of its abundance of fish.
