Sanji Mmasenono Monageng (born  August 9, 1950 in Serowe ) is a lawyer from Botswana .

1982 she studied until 1987 Law at the University of Botswana and was then as District Court judge (to 1997 magistrates working) in their home country. During this time she gained experience in criminal law in the youth and adult sector as well as in civil law in the field of affairs for children and women. She then headed the newly established Bar Association in her home country from 1997 to 2006.

In addition, she was a member of the African Commission on Human Rights and the Rights of the Peoples from 2003 to 2009 . From 2006 to 2008 she was a judge at the High Court of Gambia , then she worked in the same position at the High Court of Swaziland . In January 2009 she was elected judge at the International Criminal Court in The Hague , where she has been serving since March of the same year for a regular term of office of nine years and is a member of the Pre-Trial Department. In 2012 she was elected 1st Vice President of the Court for a three-year term. On March 10, 2018, she resigned from the college of judges according to schedule.
