The Sano - Modern Animal Nutrition GmbH is a German company and global manufacturer of feedstuffs for livestock . The headquarters of the family company is in Loiching, Lower Bavaria .
history
Sano was founded in 1976 by Bernhard Waldinger at its current location in Loiching as SANOMILCH animal feed company with limited liability. At the beginning, Sano exclusively produced milk replacers in cooperation with a manufacturing company . These were sold under the SANOMILCH brand. In 1981 Sano set up its own production facility. From then on, SANO Futter GmbH not only produced and sold milk replacers, but also mineral feed. The name change to today's Sano - Moderne Tierernahrung GmbH finally took place in 2001. The company's international expansion began in 1990 and initially focused on neighboring countries to the east due to the opening of the border. The first foreign production location was Poland in 1999. Additional production sites were set up in 2003 in Croatia, 2004 in Serbia, 2007 in Hungary, 2010 in China and in 2013 in South Africa and Mexico. The Sano Holding was founded in 2014. All independent sister companies are summarized in it.
Corporate structure
The Sano group of companies is managed by the managing partner Richard Waldinger, his wife Dagmar Waldinger and Christian Schubert. Internationally, Sano is represented by independent sister companies in over 35 countries worldwide.

Products
For the different phases of life and work of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, Sano offers feeding advice and produces and sells the following products for the German and Austrian market:

In cooperation with the Mayer Maschinenbau mbH Sano distributes supportive in Germany and Austria Mixer feeders brand Siloking . There are also sales partnerships for the Siloking brand feed mixers in Poland and Croatia.
In other countries, Sano also produces and sells protein supplement feed, concentrated feed and feed for poultry.
