Santa Catalina is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in western Uruguay in the Soriano department in sector 5 . It is located south-southeast of José Enrique Rodo . About halfway between the two cities, the Arroyo San Martín , a right tributary of the Río San Salvador, rises in the Cuchilla del Durazno there . Other settlements in the vicinity of Santa Catalina are Cardona in the southeast and Castillos and Perseverano in the west-southwest direction.
Infrastructure
The Ruta 2 runs through Santa Catalina . The place is also the seat of the school Escuela Dr Pablo Purriel .
