Cardona is a city in southwest Uruguay .
geography
It is 163 m above sea level in the area of the Department of Soriano near the town of Florencio Sánchez , which already belongs to the Department of Colonia . Both the Arroyo del Perdido and the Río San Salvador arise northwest of Cardona . The area north of the city is called Cuchilla del Bizcocho , while the Cuchilla Grande Inferior extends south to east . To the west is the Cuchilla San Salvador , to the southwest the Cuchilla de la Colonia .
