The Basilica of Santa Maria Regina degli Apostoli alla Montagnola is a church on Via Antonino Pio in the Roman district of Ostiense , used as the main church of the cult Queen of the Apostles by the Society of St. Apostle Paul is led.

The church was built between 1945 and 1954 to a design by the architect Leone Favini, who was inspired by Roman baroque architecture. It forms a central building with a large dome. The interior has a number of frescoes by AG Santagata depicting images of the Virgin Mary; among them a fresco showing Mary sitting among the apostles with the Holy Spirit coming to them.

The church is part of the sanctuary founded by Giacomo Alberione and mother house of the Paolino Institute. Inside, the church houses the tombs of Blessed Giacomo Alberione, Tecla Merlo (important mother of the Paul sisters ) and Blessed Giuseppe Timoteo Giaccardo (patron of the Sisters of the Divine Master ).

On October 26, 1976, the parish was established by the decree of Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti Pastorali munere . The church was elevated to the rank of minor basilica on April 4, 1984 by Pope John Paul II .
