The Santana PS-10 (also known as Aníbal ) was designed and manufactured by the Spanish Santana factories , which manufactured the Land Rover Series under license for decades. The Santana PS-10 is an off-road vehicle that is suitable for tough off-road use, even away from civilization. It has rigid axles on leaf springs at the front and rear , an empty weight of 2 tons and a maximum payload of 1 ton. Except for the engine, the technology of the Santana PS-10 is based heavily on that of the Land Rover Series III. On the one hand, this results in the vehicle being extremely reliable and, on the other hand, the simple technology makes repairs easier.
The Santana has fewer electrical components and therefore both lower manufacturing costs and lower repair costs than the Land Rover Defender. This is to prevent electronic defects that are difficult to fix on the go.

After Iveco took over the production of the Santana PS-10, its production was stopped in mid-2011 despite the high demand in Europe and North Africa. The sister model Iveco Massif , which was produced at the same time, was also discontinued.
