Santiago Fisas Ayxelá , in Catalan Santiago Fisas i Ayxelà (born August 19, 1948 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish politician of the Partido Popular .
Life
Ayxelá studied law at the University of Barcelona . From 2003 to 2009 he was Minister for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Regional Government of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. Ayxelá has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
