Santiago Morandi , full name Santiago Morandi Vidal , (born April 6, 1984 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

At the beginning of his career, the 1.85 meter tall goalkeeper Morandi initially belonged to Central Español from 2004 to 2007 and from 2007 to 2008 the Club Atlético Progreso . In 2009 he played a league game in the Campeonato Mineiro for the Brazilian club Democrata GV . From 2010 to the end of 2012 he played for the team of Club Deportivo Suchitepéquez in Guatemala . In the 2011/12 season he ran 47 times in the Liga Nacional with the Guatemalans . This was followed by a move within the league to Club Deportivo Heredia in 2012 , for which he completed 24 league games in the 2012/13 season. At the beginning of 2013 he joined the Cafetaleros de Tapachula . With the Mexicans he was used 14 times in Primera A and twice in the Copa México . From the beginning of July 2013 he continued his career in Guatemala. This time the employer was CSD Municipal . After 77 league appearances across all seasons and four appearances in the CONCACAF Champions League . In mid-January 2015, the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Rentistas signed him . In the 2015 Clausura , he was involved in seven Primera División matches . At the beginning of July 2015 he moved to Deportivo Ñublense in Chile . In the 2015/16 season, the Chileans made 29 appearances in Primera B and four in the Copa Chile . In early July 2016 he joined San Marcos de Arica . So far (as of March 2, 2017) he has been used there 13 times (no goal) in the league.
