Santo Estêvão do Penso is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Santo Estêvão do Penso belongs to the district of Braga in the same district Braga . The community had an area of 2.24 km² and 435 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The place is only slightly urbanized .
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Penso (Santo Estêvão), Penso (São Vicente) and Escudeiros were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Escudeiros e Penso (Santo Estêvão e São Vicente) .
