Barbara Ann Stuart (* 3. January 1930 in Paris , Illinois as Barbara Ann McNeese ; † 15. May 2011 in St. George , Utah ) was an American actress .

Life

Barbara Stuart, originally Barbara Ann McNeese , was born in Edgar County , in the eastern US state of Illinois. She grew up with her brother Richard McNeese in Hume , near her birthplace Paris. After graduating from high school , she took acting classes at the Shoemaker-Martin School of Drama in Cincinnati , Ohio ; this drama school had been founded by an aunt of the actor Tyrone Power . Stuart then went to New York City for further training , where she received acting lessons from Stella Adler and Uta Hagen . To pay for acting lessons, she worked as a model on the side .
