Sapphire of Istanbul (short Istanbul Sapphire or Sapphire ) is a skyscraper in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul . It is located in the Levent business district and, with 66 floors and a total height of 261 meters, is the tallest building in Turkey. The client is Kiler Holding . The building complex includes luxury apartments , a leisure area with a golf course at a height of 165 m and a view of the Bosphorus , a viewing platform for visitors and a 34,000 m² shopping center. It is the first ecologically built high-rise and the most environmentally friendly commercial building in Turkey. It is equipped with the latest technology. The double façade construction alone should save 30–35% energy. A so-called vertical garden is laid out on every third floor.
