Sara Keane (born June 7, 1992 ) is a former American soccer goalkeeper who was last under contract with FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League in the 2014 season.

Career

During her studies at West Virginia University , Keane played from 2009 to 2013 for the local university team of the West Virginia Mountaineers . Before the 2014 season she was committed by NWSL participant FC Kansas City and made her debut there on June 14 in the away game against Houston Dash . As a substitute goalkeeper for Nicole Barnhart , she came to another full season play and won the championship play-offs at the end of the season with the FCKC as the second of the regular season . Before the 2015 season, she announced her early retirement.

National team

Keane was temporarily in the extended squad of the US U-20 national team , but did not complete an international match.
