Sarah "Paddy" Jones (born July 1, 1934 in Stourbridge ) is a British dancer.

Career

She began ballet training when she was two and a half years old and danced professionally in her youth at the Blackpool Ice Ring , the Dudley Hippodrome and the Wolverhampton Grand , but ended her career after meeting her husband. When they retired, the couple moved to the Valencia area . In Spain, after the death of her husband, she specialized in the dance salsa . In 2009, at the age of 75, she won Tú sí que vales , the Spanish version of Das Supertalent , with her dance partner, 40 years her junior . They performed a salsa acrobatica , which CNN described as a sequence of "gravity-mocking lifts, twists and turns". 2014 followed the participation in the eighth season of Britain's Got Talent , in which the couple finished ninth in the final. The 81-year-old and her partner achieved the same placement in 2015 when they took part in the German format Das Supertalent . At the Sanremo Festival 2018 , Jones appeared with the group Lo Stato Sociale as an integral part of the performance of their competition entry Una vita in vacanza .
