Sarah Pisek

Sarah Pisek (born March 1992 in Eppelborn ) is a young German composer. With the song Endlich frei, she won the songwriting competition Dein Song and thus the title Songwriter of the Year 2011 . On November 10, 2011 she received a Bambi .

Life

Sarah Pisek took part in the school band at school, the German Institute for the Blind , and has been singing in various choirs since 2002, currently in the Saar Youth Choir . The blind Sarah doesn't write down her compositions, she remembers them. Already in 2009 she took part in Dein Song and achieved a placement among the best 16. In 2011, the Count of the band Unheilig was at her side when recording her song. On December 7, 2012, they jointly published u. a. with Daniel Schuhmacher and Lisa Bund the charity song A New Day .
