Sarah Sophia Meyer

Sarah Sophia Meyer (* 1984 in Flawil ) is a Swiss actress. She became known through the Swiss feature film Zwingli , in which she played the female lead.

Life

Meyer studied at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and already played at the Münchner Kammerspiele and at the Volkstheater in Munich during her studies . Between 2009 and 2013 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Stuttgart . Between 2013 and 2015 she worked as a freelance actress at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , Konzert Theater Bern and Theater Heidelberg . Sarah Sophia Meyer has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Graz since 2015 .

2019, from St.Gallen in the Swiss film played Zwingli the female lead Anna Reinhart , the strong woman of the Swiss reformer Huldrych Zwingli . For her role she has been nominated for the Swiss Film Prize for “ best actress ” .
