The Sardinian long-eared bat ( Plecotus sardus ) is a species of bat from the genus of long-eared bats ( Plecotus ) within the smooth-nosed family (Vespertilionidae).

The species is endemic to the island of Sardinia and was only newly described in 2002. It is similar to the brown long-eared ( Plecotus auritus ), but is larger and has a significantly longer tragus (ear cover). Their fur is dark brown in color.

The Sardinian long-eared is known from three places in Sardinia, where it lives mainly in densely forested regions. Limestone caves are primarily used as sleeping places .
