Sarenza is a French e-commerce company based in Paris that specializes in online shoe and accessories retail. It was founded in 2005 by Francis Lelong, Yoan Le Berrigaud and Frank Zayan.

history

In September 2005 the French website 'sarenza.com' was launched. Thanks to financing totaling 6 million euros, the company continues to develop and decides to expand its business internationally. In March 2007 the three founders leave the company. Stéphane Treppoz becomes CEO and Hélène Boulet-Supau becomes Managing Director. The new tip finances the company with 3 million euros and ensures competitiveness in the market thanks to the new automated warehouse near Paris and the internalization of the customer service and IT departments. One and a half years after the change in management, the company becomes profitable. A further injection of 3 million euros in April 2009 enabled development on the international market. Two thirds of the amount will be borne by Stéphane Treppoz and Hélène Boulet-Supau themselves. In December 2011, Stéphane Treppoz as Chairman of the Management Board and Hélène Boulet-Supau as Managing Director become the main shareholders of Sarenza. The company's executives now own over 80% of the capital. At the end of 2012, Sarenza was supplying 25 European countries. In 2018, Sarenza was taken over by Monoprix , which belongs to the Groupe Casino group.

Companies

Sarenza belongs to the company Monoprix from France , which in turn belongs to the Groupe-Casiono. In 2017 the company generated a turnover of 250 million euros in 30 countries in Europe. The Sarenza headquarters with the various departments is located in the center of Paris. Since 2010, all orders have been processed by the logistics partner ADS in the central warehouse in Beauvais (north of Paris) and sent from there to the respective countries.

Events

Relay run in pumps

Sarenza developed the concept of the relay race in pumps in 2008. In the first year of the competition, 32 teams of 3 runners in pumps with at least 8 centimeter heels competed against each other; the best group won a shoe voucher worth 3,000 euros. Since 2008, the relay races in pumps have taken place almost annually.
