Satoru Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 悟 , Suzuki Satoru ; born July 19, 1975 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Suzuki learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Cerezo Osaka . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2001 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2002 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. In 2003 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup. For the club he completed 175 games. In 2004 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Purple Sanga . In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 50 games. At the end of 2006 he ended his career as a football player.
