The Saurer 10DM is the last heavy truck model manufactured by the Swiss company Adolph Saurer AG .

The designation 10DM stands for 10 t payload. The three-axle vehicle has an output of 235 kW (320 hp). The drive formula 6 × 6 stands for 6 driven out of 6 existing wheels. Its lighter “brother” is the two-axle Saurer 6DM .

The vehicles are equipped with Saurer six-cylinder engines and turbochargers and are shifted via a semi-automatic transmission.

The 6DM and 10DM models were the first military vehicles of the Swiss Army to go into operation with a NATO body. The most widespread are the 6DM and 10DM trucks as flatbed transporters for troops and material, but they also exist as tank fire engines on military airfields, as crane trucks, and as container transporters for the operational components for the TAFLIR ( tactical flying radar). TAFLIR radar antennas are also permanently installed on 10DM trucks.
