Sauro Scavolini

Sauro Scavolini (born February 3, 1934 in Pesaro ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Scavolini began his working life as a painter; from 1960 he attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and worked as editing secretary for Renato Castellani . From 1966 he was responsible for the scripts of numerous genre films for the cinema, and he worked particularly often with Sergio Martino . In addition to a feature film made in 1972, Amore e morte nel giardino degli dei , he appeared as a director of isolated TV films from 1977 onwards.

Scavolini's brother is the director Romano .
