Savaş Yarbay (born March 7, 1946 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

Savaş Yarbay began his career in 1964 in the 2nd division with Kasımpaşa Istanbul . There he played until his move to league rivals Aydınspor in 1966 . For Aydınspor, the midfielder played 105 second division games and scored 14 goals. In the summer of 1970 he went to Galatasaray Istanbul . During his time for Galatasaray, Yarbay was a substitute player and came to 26 top division games in three years. In all seasons with Galatasaray he was Turkish champion and 1973 Turkish cup winner.

After his time at Galatasaray, Yarbay played for one year each with Sivasspor , İspartaspor , Bandırmaspor and Beykozspor .
