Schönberg is a district of the Rottenbuch community in the Weilheim-Schongau district in Upper Bavaria .

The parish village of Schönberg is located about three kilometers southeast of Rottenbuch on the summit of a hill in the Bavarian Alpine foothills .
history
Schoenberg belonged to the secularization of Rottenbuch cloister Mark .
Until it was incorporated into Rottenbuch on May 1, 1978, Schönberg was an independent municipality.
Attractions
In the center of Schönberg is the Kuratiekirche Mariä Himmelfahrt, a neo-Gothic building from 1876.
