Schönebecker Straße 2 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the west side of Schönebecker Straße in the Buckau district . The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Schönebecker Strasse 3 to the south .
Architecture and history
The plastered four-storey building was built in the neo-renaissance style in 1893. The construction was carried out by the master bricklayer Andreas Böttcher as the owner himself. The facade is characterized by a box oriel ceiled with a helmet in the middle in front of the upper floors. To the right of the bay there are balconies, the two lower ones being designed in the form of loggias . As decorations there are pilaster strips and parapet fields decorated with ornaments. The cornices are profiled and cranked. Toothed friezes were used on the eaves . On the left side the house is crowned by a stepped gable. It is decorated with volutes , pyramid obelisks and pilasters . The window openings on the ground floor are designed as basket arches .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82550 .
