Schönebecker Straße 98 is a listed residential and commercial building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It stands at the eaves on the east side of Schönebecker Strasse in the Buckau district of Magdeburg .
Architecture and history
The four-storey building was built in 1883 in the neo-renaissance style for the client Friedrich Nordt. The construction was carried out by the master carpenter A. Wischeropp. The six- to seven-axis facade is presented with yellow bricks on the second and third floors and plastered surfaces on the first and second floors. The appearance is dominated by a flat risalit in front of the second and third floors in front of the central axes . There is a three-part window axis here. This area is crowned by a roof bay. Its original superstructure has not been preserved, but it still bears the year of construction 1883 as an inscription . While the facade of the first floor is rusticated , the ground floor facade was later modernized and is now more simple. There is also a metope triglyph frieze on the first floor .
Also in 1883 a side and a rear building were built, the rear building was later demolished.
In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 17870 .
