Iryna Schylawa ( Belarusian Ірына Шылава ; born September 23, 1967 in Hrodna , Belarusian SSR ) is a former Belarusian sports shooter .

Iryna Schylawa took part in four Olympic Games . In 1988 she competed in Seoul with the air rifle and qualified for the final with 395 points. In this she scored 103.5 points and became Olympic champion with the Olympic record of 498.5 points . Four years later she was part of the United Team and took 19th place with the small bore rifle in the three-position battle. 1996 Schylawa reached in Atlanta , for the first time starting to Belarus, with the air rifle ninth place and with the small-bore rifle rank 17. In the 2000 Olympics in Sydney , she completed the three positions with the small-bore rifle ranked 20th

1990 Schylawa was in Moscow in the individual and the team competition in the prone position with the small-bore rifle world champion . She won bronze in team competitions with the small-bore rifle in three-position combat and with the air rifle. With the air rifle team, she secured the title in Stavanger in 1991 .
