Sanne Nijhof

Sanne Nijhof (born October 20, 1987 in Den Ham , Overijssel province ) is a Dutch model .

biography

Nijhof was a successful rider in her youth, but had to give up the sport after an infection with Pfeiffer's glandular fever . In 2006, she took part in the first season of the TV show Holland's Next Top Model , where she was able to achieve first place. As a salary, she received a modeling contract with the Max Models agency worth € 50,000 as well as the right to represent the Netherlands in the global model competition Supermodel of the World the following year . After Nijhof was able to win this competition too, she received a $ 250,000 contract with the Ford Models agency .

Nijhof has appeared on the cover of various magazines, including Vogue and Elle, as well as Harpers Bazaar and Marie Claire . She appeared at fashion shows in Paris , Milan and New York City , among others . She also worked as a model for the cosmetics company Maybelline .
