The Schöneberger Schloßbrauerei (Berliner Schloßbräu) was a brewery that was located from 1871 to 1975 on Dominicusstrasse in today's Berlin district of Schöneberg .

As early as 1375 beer was brewed in the " Dorfkrug " in Schöneberg. In 1871 the jug was acquired by the castle brewery. The brewery was built in 1867 as Schlegelsche Brewery . In 1905 the output was 160,000  hectoliters of draft beer and 100,000 hectoliters of bottled beer. In 1922 extensive extensions were made, after 1945 the war damage was repaired .

The company , operating as Berliner Schloßbrauerei AG since 1934 , was from 1954 a subsidiary of Berliner Kindl Brauerei AG , which was itself majority owned by the Oetker Group . At the end of its financial year 1958/1959 it was dissolved as an independent legal company and transferred to the parent company without liquidation and continued to be operated as the Berlin Bear Brewery with sales of 300,000 hectoliters . After extensive modernization in the early 1960s, the Berlin Bear Brewery was Germany's most modern large- scale brewery.

In 1975 the brewery was closed. The brand was continued as Bärenpils by the Berliner Kindl brewery .
