Schönhof is a residential area in the Niederstetten district of Wildentierbach in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

history

The place was first mentioned in documents as Schönefelt in 1317 and 1322 . In 1400 Schönhof was owned by the Rothenburg mayor Heinrich Toppler and in 1681 by the Count of Hohenlohe-Weikersheim. Until 1802, the rulership rights were held by the imperial city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber .

The living space came to the city of Niederstetten on February 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent community of Wildentierbach.
