history

Udo Schütz founded a company for the production of heating oil storage tanks made of metal in 1958. The company expanded into other business areas. In the 1980s it was also active as a supplier for the automotive industry and as a manufacturer of sporting goods. In particular, the company's surfboards , which were sold under the Fanatic brand , were well known. In the mid-1990s, the automotive supply and sporting goods divisions were sold and the current structure was introduced.

The company has been operating as a GmbH & Co. KGaA since 2000 and manufactures products in the field of plastics and metal processing. Patents and manufacturing technologies set standards for product lines in the Industrial Packaging, Energy Systems and Industry Services business areas.
