Schachenalm

The Schachenalm is an alpine pasture in the Sachrang part of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau .

Two buildings of the Schachenalm are under monument protection and are registered under the number D-1-87-114-133 in the Bavarian monument list.

Building description

The alpine hut of the Schachenalm is a single-storey, plastered solid building with a flat gable roof , boarded gables and a baluster arbor. The building is marked with the year 1751.

A bakery belongs to the alpine hut , it is a small solid building with a flat gable roof, which was probably built in the second half of the 19th century.

Todays use

The Schachenalm is bumped , but not served.

The Schachenalm is located east of the Innerwald district of Aschau am Schachenberg at an altitude of 900  m above sea level. NN .
