A labia piercing is a piercing in the intimate area of the woman and can be worn in the inner as well as in the outer labia .
Piercing through the outer labia
A piercing of the outer labia , labia majora pudendi , can be done on any woman. The healing process is a little slower than that of the inner labia, as it is often irritated by contact with clothing and is exposed to constant movements. It usually takes about six to eight weeks for full healing.
This jewelry is also gladly set in such a way that the vagina can be closed by opposite labia piercings and it works like a chastity belt .

The piercing rod is guided vertically above the glans of the clitoris, glans clitoridis , and below the point where the labia majora converge, commisura labiorum anterior , in the direction of the pubic mound . The sting penetrates the tissue of the pubic mound and exits there; the second piercing clamp ball, for example a straight barbel or curved barbell, is located here.
Piercing through the inner labia
A piercing through the inner or small labia , labia minora pudendi , is one of the more uncomplicated piercings, but it depends on the size and shape of the woman's inner labia and therefore cannot be pierced in women whose inner labia are relatively small or very small. In principle, it takes about two to three weeks for complete healing and is less painful than several other genital piercings.

A large number of jewelry variants are available . If placed correctly, it can have a stimulating effect on both the wearer and the sexual partner . The piercing jewelry should have a thickness of at least 3.2 millimeters to avoid the risk of migration, i.e. H. the outgrowth to counteract. The fabric allows easy and quick stretching .
