The Schenck Peak is a 500 m high mountain on the West Antarctic Rothschild Island . In the Desko Mountains it rises 3 km southwest of Morrill Peak in the southeast of the island.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Commander James N. Schenck (1927-2010), chief officer of the icebreaker USCGC Staten Island in Operation Deep Freeze in 1971.
