The Schildau is a 16 km long right tributary of the Nette in Lower Saxony in Germany.

course

The Schildau rises a good 5 km southeast of Seesen in the northwest Harz . It takes in many named and unnamed streams before reaching Seesen. After it has flowed through the city, there are some ponds by the run. It then flows through Bornhausen before it flows into the Nette about two kilometers further down.

The banks of the Schildau are densely overgrown throughout.
