Schillstrasse 36 (Stralsund)
The building with the postal address Schillstraße 36 is a listed building on Schillstraße in Stralsund .
The two-storey and siebenachsige , traufständige stucco building was built around the year 1825th In the middle of the 19th century, a three-axis extension with an attic was added to the house.
The strictly symmetrically structured main building with a high pitched roof has a protruding central axis, which is crowned by a gabled dwarf. The portal was originally inserted in this axis . The windows on the ground floor have arched niches. A cornice visually divides the floors.
The extension building has the same facade structure as the main building.
In 1891 the rear front was designed in the neo-Gothic style. Here, one was on the northwest corner tower of brick added. In 1911 the central bay window with a stepped gable was added.
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 689.
